Modern Day Strasburg:
The Community Foundation, overseen by a board, raises funds via donations and disperses funds through grants that go toward the betterment of the community. Funds go into a permanent endowment fund which continues to build as well as a temporary fund which is used for projects.
Stay up-to-date with the village board! Board meetings are the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and are open to the public.

History of Strasburg:
More than 130 years ago, German settlers first migrated to this unbroken prairie to begin a new community. These hardworking immigrants soon turned the rich soil into productive farms. Many farms have stayed in the family for several generations.
While traditions of the German heritage still remain, the village has enveloped many nationalites into its culture. The end result is the hospitality, values, and quaintness that characterize this well kept small community!
